I don’t know about others, but my local Walmarts have NO Mountain House meals. 2 weeks ago the Natchez Ms store had 1 meal. So, they’ve not reordered. Also, no Sawyer filters. But there are 2 filter straw / bottles I’ve never heard of. Is this local, or corporate wide? Im not wasting my time asking the random employee.

Those mallets are 1.25 at dollar tree!!!! They work good as are pool noodles when they aint cheap at walmart.

The blue closed cell foam pads are the best deal, always have 1 or 2 in my car. They are impervious to the doggie toenails unlike the bare tent floor, plus put one under your inflatable pads to double its warmth and backup if the upper pad springs a leak!

Pool noodles work good in the middle of the night you wanna take a pee you can pee right to the pool noodle outside
Coleman sleeping bags have the best zippers that zip down and up without issue. The cheaper sleeping bags have cheap zippers that come apart causing unnecessary cold drafts that are frustrating issues that will cause sleeping problems if aren’t addressed immediately and sometimes rendering the sleeping bag unless as a sleeping bag.
Try zooming in and out faster. 😂😂🤦🤦

Just FYI, if you have to really drive tent stakes into hard ground, theyre really difficult to pull back outta the ground. Dollar Tree has small crow bars that work like a charm in getting those stakes back!
Ozark trail tent I had I had to apply more waterproof to it because it didn’t hold up to rain here in Missouri

Grew up camping thru scouting and chuch camps , worked in the ĺ the camping/backpacking community and lived in a cabin tent for over 4 years. I’M SORRY, but Ozark trail products are one of two thing s. And likely both they are cheap/ poorly made and are gonna fail. I think their products are cool for pre teens camping in the back yard or in the basement In personally would not allow my loved ones to leave the property to go camping with their products. I do have one of their solar lanterns that did ok… but that’s gotta be a fluke!

Okay, I need to know the exact location of this walmart! mine is seriously lacking, just a tiny 10 ft aisle 😢.
They don’t actually tell you any specific products, like the video title suggests. They just tell you hey Walmart has camping gear and these are some options you can try. This is more or less a glorified Walmart ad… However the tips about using the pool noodles on the tent strings was pretty clever.
Guess I’m fussy, music too loud and cameras movement too fast. Can’t focus your eyes before it’s on to something else. I love watching your videos but this one I couldn’t enjoy.

I feel like everytime I go to Walmart to find camping items, there’s only 1 aisle for camping, then 5 aisles for fishing.
I would avoid their tents. The fiberglass poles on 3 different tents broke soon after purchase- one broke Two hours after I set up the tent for the first time.
I recommend starting cheap. Making your equipment.. Using recycled stuff. Make your padding….make your tarp. Make a wood burning stove…plastic cups and plates….dont take lavish meals. …..then if you like going camping regularly…….start adding stuff.

Great video. Only thing I’ll say is I would never ever recommend a tent by ozark trail. I got their 8 person tent a few months ago for $130 at Walmart when my gf and I were camping in the Everglades. We got hit by a rainstorm and every single seam on the tent leaked and it destroyed gear and soaked us. I returned it the next day and we went and got a hotel lol.
Ozarks sleeping bags are just fine however. But damn their tents are garbage lol

I have somewhere in the neighborhood of $3000 worth of camping gear. This includes 5 camping tents of various sizes, 3 personal tents for shower, toilet & changing clothes, a beach tent for storing gear. I have all gear for comfy bedroom, outdoor kitchen and personal bathroom, electronic entertainment, outdoor projector, movie screen, speakers, inflatable pool, hammocks and chairs, outdoor and indoor games. Probably 80 percent is Ozark Trail. I love that brand and have no regrets in that choice. Just came across your channel for the 1st time & love it❤!
All of it is trash. I’ve never bought one thing from that crap store that was any good. Leaky tents, crap sleeping bags, air mattresses that leak, aftermarket tent pegs that were worse than spaghetti noodles, multi tools that have garbage steel. All these companies make crappy knock off crap just to sell at Walmart. All of it junk.
