I keep multiple checklists in an app on my phone – car camping, backpacking, day hike, etc. I also keep most of my camp kitchen and "misc. little things" like lights, hatchet, hammock all together in one big go-box. This has all greatly reduced my "what am I forgetting?" anxiety.
